An alloy consists of 30%, zinc 45% Nickel and the rest Copper. find the weight of copper in 800 gram of the alloy.

An alloy consists of 30% zinc , 45% nickel 
copper % = 100 - (30 % +45%) 
                = 100-75
               = 25%
weight copper = 25% of 800 g
                      = 1/4 * 800g
                      = 200g

=>maximum = 100%

copper = 100%-[30%+45%]
               
              = 100% - 75%

               =25%

so there is 25%of copper in the   alloy

=>total weight of alloy = 800gram

so it is like there is 25%of copper in 800 gram

weight of alloy = 25% of 800g

                          = 25%*800g

                          = \frac{25}{100} *800

                          
=>25*8

=> 200 grams

the weight of copper in that alloy  is 200g
