Heya dear

We know that F = ma

case 1st when force is applied on 16kg block
moving with acc. 3m/s²
so use F= ma
plug the values of a and m
F = 16×3 => 48N
now same force is applied on body of mass 24 Kg
so
again plug the values in the formula
we get
48 = 24 × a'
so a' = 2 m/s² { note it will be retardation since the force is opposing the motion.

By Newton's second law of motion,

F = ma

We have , m = 16 kg and a = 3 m/s^2
Just plug in the values
F = 16 x 3 = 48 N

Now, it's given that the same force is applied on m = 24 kg.

Again, F = ma
48 = 24a
a = 2 m/s^2

Hence, required answer is F = 48 N , a = 2 m/s^2

Hope This Helps You!
