1. वसंत सभी ऋतुओं का राजा है । इस ऋतु में प्रकृति पुरे यौवन में होती है । इस ऋतु के आने पर सर्दी कम हो जाती है और मौसम सुहावना हो जाता है । पेड़ों में नए-नए पत्ते आने लगते हैं । खेत सरसों के फूलों से लड़ जाते हैं । कोयल मधुर स्वर में गाने लगती है और साथ ही साथ इस ऋतु में अनेक त्योंहार भी मनाये जाते हैं । इत्यादि विशेषताओं के कारण वसंत को ऋतुराज कहते हैं ।

ii) The Directive Principles ensure that the material resources of the country are utilised for the common good.
