The correct answers are -
a) Saheb was now working down the road in a tea-stall. 800 Rupees and three times meal were paid to him. But he does not appear happy even then. He was now carrying a steel canister that was heavier than the plastic bag he used to carry on his shoulders. Because now he was not his own boss anymore, but a servant.
(b) The poet wants to count to twelve because the clock only has twelve-hour signs to measure the hours. Thus, he asks us to count those hours until the clock measures.
(c) William Douglas sought to conquer his fear of water in every way but with very little results. Instead, in October, he wanted to hire a coach to learn to swim. He was going to a pool and training five days a week, one hour a day. After many sacrifices, he got success in his project. The instructor had made him a skilled swimmer.
(d) Dr Sadao met his wife Hana in the house of a professor in America. Hana was a pretty Japanese. He waited to fall in love with her until he was certain she was Japanese. She had been honest in the race and married according to the old Japanese method.
