2/3x=1/12+1=13/12
cross multiplication 3x*13=2*12
39x=24
x= 24/39
cross multiplication 3x*13=2*12

(2/3)x -1= 1/12,
adding both sides 1, we get,
(2/3)x-1 +1= 1/12+1
⇒(2/3)x= 13/12
⇒x= (13×3)/(12×2)
=13/8
and if it is 2/(3x), i mean 3x in the denominator, then
x =8/13
adding both sides 1, we get,
(2/3)x-1 +1= 1/12+1
⇒(2/3)x= 13/12
⇒x= (13×3)/(12×2)
=13/8
and if it is 2/(3x), i mean 3x in the denominator, then
x =8/13
