length=0.1km=100m

d=r*2mm=0.5*2mm=1mm=0.001m

resistance of copper=1.7*10^-8ohms

area=(pi*d*d)/4

=(pi*0.001*0.001)/4

=0.784*10^-6

resistance=(resistivity*length)/area

=(1.7*10^-8*100)/0.784*10^-6

=(170*10^-8)/0.784*10^-6

=170/0.784*10^-6*10^8

=170/0.784*10^2

=170/78.4

=2.168367

=2.17

so, the resistance of copper wire is 2.17
