The Himalayas is the world's highest mountain range. It has some of the world`s highest mountain peak some of them exceeds to a height above 8,000m.

Some of the peaks which lies in Himalayas are Mount Everest, Nanga Parbat,Dhaulagiri,Nanda Devi etc.

Mount Everest at a height of 8850m  above sea level is the highest peak in the world.

Nanga Parbat which has a height of 8126m stands ninth in the world. It is situated in regions of Korakaram Range,Baldistan,  Gilgit, Pakistan.

Dhaulagiri Mountain located in the eastern Nepal bodering Tibet having a height of 8201m comes seventh in the world.

Nanda Devi is the twenty third and the second highest mountain in India. It has a height of 7816m.
