India has a large variety of birds and they are of different sizes, nature, stature, colour and appearance. This wide variety is what makes India's birdlife vibrant and colourful. A number of the migratory birds visits India especially in regions like Rann of Kutch like flamingos and crane. The country boasts of over 2000 birds species. The birdlife can be shown by the diversity on the specified and their patterns of migration and movement as there are species are owning there to the mountains, valleys, rivers and the coastal plains and the marshlands and the plateaus of South India.
