After the end of World War II, the Allied powers set up International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg, Germany to punish the Nazi War criminals. The war criminals were triad for their roles in war crimes and hundreds among them were executed. These trials of Nazi Officials before the International Military Tribunal are the best known of the postwar war crimes trials.
