solution : first of all, find n-factor of Cr2(SO4)3.

reaction is ...

Cr2(SO4)3 + H2O2 +NaOH → Na2CrO4 + Na2SO4 + H2O

see oxidation reaction of Cr2(SO4)3 .. Cr_2(SO_4)_3+10NaOH\rightarrow 2Na_2CrO_4+3Na2SO4+2H_2O+6H^++6e^-

here it is clear that, six electrons are transferred to occur chemical reaction.

so, n - factor of Cr2(SO4)3 = 6

so, equivalent weight of Cr2(SO4)3 = molecular weight of Cr2(SO4)3/n-factor

= M/6

we know, molecular weight of Cr2(SO4)3 = 392 g/mol

so equivalent weight of Cr2(SO4)3 = 392/6 = 65.333
