Can a mixture of chloroform (b.p61c)and carbon tetrachloride (b.p.77c) be satisfactorily separated by the process you use for seperating the various fractions of petroleum ? what modifications will you make in apparatus for this purpose?

Yes it can be separated as the petroleum is separated b fractional distillation. As their boiling points are different this method can be used.
