Answer: This statement is wrong and it's false.

Explanation: Plants are essential organisms as they are responsible for the formation of the most vital thing in life which is oxygen. They do so because they have the capability of performing the process of photosynthesis in which there is the formation of glucose and oxygen and energy from the usage of carbon dioxide and water and this process takes place in the presence of chlorophyll and sunlight. The chlorophyll is present in the strictures called as chloroplast where chloroplast have thylakoids which are made up of a stack of grana. The single disc is called granum and thylakoids are attached with st. The fluid present in the chloroplast is called stroma lamellae and these chloroplasts are the structures that catch the sunlight using chlorophyll and convert sit into photon energy which excites the electrons and forms energy and releases oxygen and that is why the plants without chloroplast will not be able to make their food hence they have chloroplast.
