the lost child is a chapter about a child who went to fair with his parents.
he saw many things in fair such as sweets , toys , garland flowers , fields,
snake , the giant wheel. he asked his parents to buy toys , sweets etc to buy for him but they didnot agree , so when he saw giant wheel he thought many things after coming out from his thoughts he found that he was lost.

Summary of 'THE LOST CHILD'

- This is a story about a child who goes to the fair first time with his parents during spring.
- The child was lagging behind his parents on the way to the fair because he was distracted by various thing on the way. His parents used to tell him that he should be with us.
- The child gets attracted toward sweets, toys, flowers garlands which were put up for the sale.
- But he did't asked his parents for anything because he knew that if he would ask then, his parents would refuse.
- He saw a roundabout, where people were riding and he requested his parents to go there, but his parents didn't reply at all.
- Then, he looks back to find his parents and saw that his parents weren't there. He was lost!
- He searched his parents in different places but couldn't able to found them. He started crying loudly.
- A Samaritan (kind person) saw him and offered him many thing but the child refused everything. The child wanted his parents.
