Travelogue

A travelogue is a piece of writing about travel. It can be a book, film or illustrated lecture about the places visited by a traveller and his experiences.

In order to write a travelogue the person has to do the following:

1. Decide the purpose of the travelogue.

2. Take notes about what he sees, the places he visits and the people he meets while travelling.

3. Take plenty of pictures wherever he goes.

4. Review his recordings when he returns home.

5. Then create an outline of his travelogue.

6. He can write the travelogue in the first person.

Other forms of prose

1. They can be about any topic not only travel.

2. They need not include pictures.

3. They can be written in first, second or third person.
