Explanation:

At the start of the poem the poet was alone and aimlessly wandereing through the countryside and he was suddenly attracted by a sea of golden yellow daffodils. The fluttering of the daffodil in the mild breeze appeared to the poet as if they were dancing merrily. The beauty of the dancing and cheerful daffodil made poet feel joyful.

At the end of the poem when the poet is in the same condition, sad or pensive and terribly alone but not under the beauty of nature in person. The memory of the daffodils and the memory of how happy they made him feel appears in his mind and he again becomes joyful
