Subject:- Growing level of corruption
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to express my views on the growing corruption level in India. Our society is facing a very grave problem of curroption that has threthreatened the basic foundation of the society. The major resons for fst creeping curroption are political instability, poverty, unequal structure society, unemployment, lack of accountability, weak political institutions and absence of rule of law. It is under mines democracy, hinders in good governance and weakens the democratic institutions. It humper economic growth and sustainable developements. In order to curb this menace, institutions should be made strong for proper working of the democratic system. A proper system of accountability and check and balance should be implemented. Justice delayed is justice denied. In time justice can minimise corruption. Salaries and wages should be increased. The education system must be revised and improved.
Moreover, proper planning and strictly implemented policies with public support can put halt to this growing menace.
Yours sincerely
Raman Ahuja
