1.In India, the term hero has very limited connotations. The very mention of the word hero brings to our mind the images of either an actor,an athlete,a social activist or a politician.
However the fact is that there are a number of individuals who have performed exceptional heroic deeds in their own field, but their names have never been celebrated in historical records.India's heroes celebrates these unsung heroes.
2.Violence in any form is unacceptable. There maybe a fewer people directly affected by it but there are a greater number who might suffer the indirect psychological effect of it.In this story, the schoolchildren are in no way related to the heroes of the terror attack but still their lives have been affected by the causalities for they feel for these men and women.
3.While the adults of today have become self-centered,the author wants to drive home to the readers that the youth show more sensitiveness towards needs of others, which is absolutely true.
