Answer:

The associative property states that you can add or multiply regardless of how the numbers are grouped.

ACCOCIATIVE PROPERTY :

  \red{\mathfrak{(a + b )+ c = a +( b + c)}}

FOR EXAMPLE :

 \pink{ \tt{a =4}} \\  \red{ \tt{b = 5 }} \\  \blue{ \tt{c = 2}}

 \tt{(4 + 5 )+ 2 = 4 +( 5 + 2)} \\  \tt{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:9 + 2 = 4 + 7} \\ \tt{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 11 = 11}

Basically, associative means join or mixing something . In the given example we have combined the digits i.e 4,5,2 as a sum . Now this property gives the same result as 11 . So, this property is valid .

In thus property we can do addition and multiplication .....

We cannot do subtract and division

Because , either we could not define or unless the result should be negative and the result won't be same .

try it ! »»a=3

b=9

c=5....

THANK YOU ! I HOPE IT HELPS YOU
