physics is based on measurement of physical quantity .
cetain phyiscal quantity are chosen as base quantity ( such as length , time and mass ) and given a unit measure ( such as meter , second , kilogram ) . other phyiscal quantities are defined by base quantities and their standard units
example :- speed = length/time = m/s
Force = mass.length/time² = kgm/s²
