Vegetative propagation is a method of asexual reproduction in plants where vegetative parts like root, stem or leaf give rise to new plants.

Through -
Stems -
A number of plants like sweet potato etc have swollen roots which give raise to new plants.
Stem-
Potatoes, ginger etc multiply their stems through modification.
Leaves-
Some plants like bryophyllum can be propagated by developing the margins of intact leaves which forms into new plantets and separates from the parent plant to become a new individual plant.
