kx + 3y + 1 = 0

2x + y + 3 = 0

 a_{1} = k \:  \:  \: b_{1}  = 3 \:  \:  \: c_{1} = 1 \\ a_{2} = 2 \:  \:  \:  b_{2} = 1 \:  \:  \:  c_{2} = 3
For unique solution,
a1/a2 ≠ b1/b2
=>k/2 ≠ 3/1
=> k ≠ 3 × 2
=> k ≠ 6

Hope it'll help...
