Natural number :-
Counting numbers like 1 , 2, 3.....etc. are known as natural numbers.
Whole number :-
All counting numbers together with 0 from the collection of whole numbers. 0, 1, 2, 3....
Integers :-
Numbers whose decimal part is 0 are known as integer.
Eg.- -4, -2 ect.
Rational numbers :-
Those numbers whose decimal representation are either terminating or repeating.
OR
Those numbers which can be represented in the form of p/q , where q≠ 0 are called rational numbers.
Eg.- 31/143
Irrational numbers :-
Those numbers whose decimal representation are non terminating or non repeating are called irrational numbers.
OR
Those numbers which can't be represented in the form of p/q where q≠0 are called irrational numbers.
Ex. - √2 , √5 ect.
Real numbers :-
Those numbers whose square is positive are called real numbers.
Ex. - √2 , 7 ect.
