Dear Student,
As our blood circulates in two loops, it is called double circulation.
● Pulmonary circulation -
- Movement of deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs and return of oxygenated blood to the heart again is called pulmonary circulation.
● Systemic circulation -
- Movement of oxygenated blood from the heart to the body tissues and return of deoxygenated blood to the heart again is called systemic circulation.
Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...

Pulmonary and Systemic circulation:
- The circulatory system of mammals has a specific circuit. The circuit composes of two different parts, those parts are Pulmonary Circulation and Systemic circulation.
- The systemic circulation comprises of circulation offered to every part and organs of body except the lungs. This circulation starts from left ventricle of the heart, goes to every part of body and ends into right atria of heart.
- The Pulmonary Circulation is smaller part of circuit that only includes the lungs. This circulation includes the start point from right ventricle of heart, goes to lungs and ends up in left atria of heart.
