Before comsidering a specific disease, you must know whay does acute and chronic mean?

Acute means limited period of time.
Chronic means lifetime.

So, acute pulpitis last for some period of time and after that you body recovers itself while chronic pulpitis last throughout the life of a person.

  • Pain killers are most effective.
  • Pain occurs while chewing the food.
  • Pain remains for 1-2 hours.
