Explanation:

Efflorescence : When some substances are exposed to air, they lose water to the atmosphere,The molecules of water of crystallization are partially or completely lost to the atmosphere.

Example, Na2SO4. 10H2O loses all its water of crystallization when exposed to air; Na2CO3. 10H2O loses 9 of its molecules of water of crystallization which now become Na2SO4.H2O

Effervescence : Effervescence is the escape of gas from an aqueous solution and the foaming that results from that release.

Example : When you pour your chilled soft drink (Coke or Pepsi) into a glass cup. You will not bubble-like state.

Answer:

efflorescence is (chemistry) the formation of a powdery surface on crystals, as a hydrate is converted to anhydrous form by losing loosely bound water of crystallization to the atmosphere while effervescence is the escape of gas from solution in a liquid, especially the escape of carbon dioxide
