The difference between monocentric chromosome, dicentric and polycentric chromosomes are as follows:
Monocentric- When there are chromosome with one centromere.
Dicentric- When there are chromosome with two centromeres.
Polycentric chromosome- When there are chromosomes with more than two centromere.

- Apart from Monocentric, Dicentric, and Polycentric, there are many other types of cells such as diploid cells which are those cells which has two sets of chromosomes.
- Haploid cells are cells which have just a single complete set of chromosomes.
