But for The poet Fire and Ice Means Desire or ambitious behavior where as Ice means Hatred
he thinks that due to people's growing ambition and desire the end of the world is near so he sides with fire
but for the end of world the Ice that is hatred that people have for each other is also sufficient
The world will end Someday but due to extreme behavior of people, this has led to hasten the end of world
Required Answer:-
In the poem 'Fire and Ice' by Robert frost, the extremities of behaviour described are endless desire and hatredness.
- According to him, People have two opinions about how the world will probably end.
- Some says that, it will end by fire and some of them believe that it will end by ice.
At this moment, the poet is kinda confused!
- He firstly chose fire. It is because, People nowadays are full of endless desire. They keep on demanding things and asking for help. The more you feed them, the more they will grow.
- Fire is personified here. The more fuel we give, the more it grows. And this would probably end the human existence
But still, He is in dilemma.
- Now he chooses ice. Ice is personified for cold and hasty behaviour. The extremity of coldness and hatredness we can have upon one-another.
- The feeling of jealousy destroys relationships and makes people live apart with broken bonds that were at some point very strong.
Hence both might be the reason for the end of the world. The process of how the world might end is thus summed up, with fire and ice being considered to have their own destructive capabilities i.e. by endless desire and hatredness
