If the divergence of the magnetic field is zero then the magnetic monopoles would not exist.

  • If divergence is present in the field then it means that the field is converging or diverging to a point or from the source.
  • If the divergence of the magnetic field is zero then it means that the monopoles are not present in the space due to which it does not faces any divergence.
  • If the divergence was non zero it would have meant that there is an electric monopole present i.e. a point charge or source.
