Let one part be x. Then the other part will be 3600 - x.

Given that one part is lent at 9% = 9% of x.

Given that other part is lent at 10% = 10% of (3600 - x).

Given that the total annual income = 33.

9% of x + 10% of (3600 - x) = 333

9x/100 + 10(3600-x)/100 = 333

9x + 36000 - 10x = 33300

-x = -2700

x = 2700.

Substitute x = 2700 in (1), we get

3600 - x = 3600 - 2700 = 900.


The two amounts are 2700 and 900.
