yes non living objects also exert the force of weight(m×g) on the earth(the Surface where they are kept) and the earth also exerts an opposite force called reaction force (m×g) on to the object
as weight = reaction force
weight - reaction force =0
as resultant force is 0 the object stays in rest

According to the 3rd law of Motion Newton said that every action has its equal and opposite reaction so if we push a wall it will also exert same force on us
