Do you think it is good to elect someone President for life? Or is it better to hold regular elections after every few years?

According to me , it is better to hold regular elections for the president after few years. Everybody who desires to become president or if he has more public support , has the right to become president if he gets elected in any of the elections . So everyone should have the right to become president if he/she desires or has public support . So the elections should be conducted regularly after few years to ensure the government is running smoothly and it will lead to healthy government.

it is better to to hold regular elections after every few years as it ensures that the one could not misuse his power . if he does, then at next election, he will lose as people won't elect him again. it gives people to choose their leader at regular interval, which is best at that time. if they are elected for lifetime, then they would know that no one can remove them from their position and they can use their power for their own profit. it would be like dictatorship then. also better people who could develop the country won't get chance to be in the post they deserve.
so in every sense, holding elections is better.
