Lewis Scott, is known by many and loved by most. He's the type of man that will take the shirt of his back, along with the shoes off his feet, to go out of his way to help someone out.
If you were to ask someone about Lew, most anyone would have a funny memory to share of a time with Dad. He's a fun-loving, caring, family man that is a friend to all.
Since 1994, he has been having health issues, mainly to do with his heart. He has been in and out of the hospital over the years, with one problem after another. Yet, defying all odds, he always bounces back.
Yesterday, Dad was admitted into HRH. He is suffering from a slew of issues that is taking it's toll on his body.
Today they finally made the decision to send him to Eastern Maine Medical Center.
We all know how pricy traveling is. We also know how expensive it can be to stay in hotels. Gas prices are sky high. The price of food can become taxing.
Any way you look at it, my mother is in for a long line of bank charges that, to put bluntly, she cannot afford. But not for a second would she even consider leaving his side during this. I dont know of a soul who could blame her.
My parents need your help to get Dad through this. Many can probably recall a time he has helped you out. And he would never ask for anything in return, ever.
So I will do it for him.
With whatever you can afford, please, find it in your heart to help him out.
