Uniform motion can be defined as a motion which covers equal distance in equal interval of time. While uniform velocity is defined as the velocity of a moving body where equal time interval, however small the time interval may be.

An object is said to be in Uniform Motion, If a object covers equal distance in equal intervals of time .
Where as Uniform velocity means covering equal velocity in equal interval of time.
DISTANCE IS SCALAR QUANTITY AND VELOCITY IS VECTOR QUANTITY.
both cannot be equal.
