Dot product of two vectors is commutative i.e. a.b = b.a = ab cosθ. ii. ... It suggests that either of the vectors is zero or they are perpendicular to each other.
Hope u like it.

Dot product of two mutual perpendicular vector is given below -

Assume
two mutual perpendicular vector A and B with a and b magnitude respectivily .

we know that for
two vectors to be mutual perpendicular they should have 90° angle between them.

∴ A.B = a *b * Cos Ф
          = ab * Cos 90°
          = ab * 0
          = 0

Dot product of two mutual perpendicular vector is 0 .
