Hey mate, hope my answer helps you.....

Concave Mirror:

  • Position of object: Between Centre of curvature and pole of mirror
  • Position of image: Beyond Centre of curvature
  • Nature of image : Real and Inverted
  • Size of image: Enlarged

Steps to draw this ray diagram:

  1. Draw the concave mirror.
  2. Draw the principal axis.
  3. Mark the centre of curvature.
  4. At the half distance between the centre and pole, mark a point F, called the Principal focus.
  5. Mark a line and name it as the AB, which is the object.
  6. Next, from this point, draw a line parallel to the principal axis. The ray passes through F.
  7. Later, draw a line from the point to focus. It moves parallel to the Principal axis.
  8. Both lines intersect at a point below the Principal axis. Name the point as A'. Draw a line B'A'. And voila!! It is the ray diagram you need..........

Here, the distance of the object as well as image is negative. Only the magnification, height of object and image remains positive in this case.
