yes, people with a single act of kindness can change a person's view of the world..this fact was exemplified by the peddlar in the story "the rattrap". Initially the peddlar was highly disillusioned by his dismal and despondent life but on meeting the ironmaster's daughter Edla..his midset was modified and he developed a postive attitude/optimistic approach towards life... peddlar was a victim to sour and brutal faces..he always possesed a habit of criticising his life but after meeting edla..his perspective changed..edla used her persuading power to convince the peddlar to stay with them in the auspicious of Christmas...she had a kind and friendly nature...due to act of kindness ,the peddlar's view of world changed..the world, which he initially considered to be a rattrap was found to be a place filled with stupendous and spectacular things...
