Partial pressure is directly proportional to the mole fraction of the gas in the mixture.

Partial pressure = total pressure x mole fraction

Here let the mass of each gas be X gm.

Molecular mass of SO2 - 64

" " " of CH4 - 16

" " of O2- 32.

Moles of SO2 - X / 64

Moles kf CH4 - X / 16

Moles of O2 - X / 32.

TOTAL MOLES OF MIXTURE- 7X / 64

Hence partial pressure = (X / 16) / (7X / 64) * 2.1 = 4 / 7 * 2.1 = 1.2 atm.

Thumps up if u understood.

Good luck.
