Even holding regular elections and popularity of the leader, failed to provide a guarantee for democracy. Explain with an example.

The leader failed to provide a guarantee for democracy even having popularity because they do not work for public wellfare
ex- many tyme it happen the candidate who elected by public he would not come to among the local people and never tried to knew about their problem
