$\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{1}{4} = \frac{1}{8}$

And

$→\frac{1}{2} \div \frac{1}{4} \\ → \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{4}{1} = 2$

And you must know this that

$→ \frac{1}{8} < 2$

I hope you might understand.

And you are in class 8, and these things come in class 3&4 and you are thinking that this answer is wrong??
