Evolution has exhibited greater stability in molecular structure when compared with morphological structures. Genes which code for the synthesis of biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids have not changed over a long period of time. These have maintained a constant form and number.

We always observes an immense diversity in size, form, morphological features and structure in this world.

Surprisingly at the molecular level these different organisms exhibit unusual similarity too.

For example, DNA, RNA etc. are biolmolecules which exhibit similarity in all organism.
