Explain how air supports life? give examples

Air is a mixture of gases. It contains oxygen which helps in respiration of all living organisms. It also contains carbon dioxide which helps in performing photosynthesis by plants. It contains nitrogen which is converted into usable form to be consumed by plants. Hence, air supports life.
