Explain in mechanism of the cleaning action of soap.

Since the dirt/ stain is oily there are two parts in soap- the side which is attracted towards the oil and the other towards the water. many such particles surround the dirt and form a micelle and this pulls the dirt of the cloth. Then when the water is poured it gets washed away.
