1.Absorption of light energy by chloroplasts.

2.Conversion of light energy into chemical energy and splitting of water molecules(also known as photolysis of water)into hydrogen and oxygen is done.

3.Hydrogen reduces carbon do oxide and synthesizes glucose(reduction of CO2 into carbohydrates).

These three can be further categorized into light and dark reactions.

LIGHT REACTION-

takes place in presence of light in grana and oxygen is released.

DARK REACTION-

takes place in absence of light in stroma and oxygen is not released.

There are many events that occur in photosynthesis

1. The root of plants absorb water and minerals from soil and transport it through xylem to plants

2. Then the plants use water, minerals,and carbon dioxide from air

3. The photosynthesis always happens in day time because in photosynthesis the plant requires the presence of sunlight and the there are many cells in plants as humans body inside these cell they have chloroplasts contains chlorophyll which makes the plant look green and traps sunlight from sun

And then plant have all things to make food they make food by using that

After making food the plants transfer it to all parts through phloem and the name of food made by plants is glucose which is food like sugar

Plants use some of that and restore it in there root as starch

Then produce oxygen that we use to breathe
