this is a simple example of transposing
3x -6 =x+2 ( just remember all the variables should come to one side)
3x-x -6 =2( x is positive in RHS so it becomes negative when it comes to LHS)
2 x =2+6 (6 is negative at LHS so it becomes positive when it comes to RHS)
2x=8
x =8/2 (2 is multiplying at LHS so it will become as division at RHS)
X =4
substitute x in the equation
3x-6=x+2
3*4-6 =4+2
12-6=6
6 =6
LHS =RHS
hope this explains you better
