The components of the environment are biotic and abiotic.

The biotic components consist of trees, animals and micro-organisms.

The abiotic components consist of sunlight, rivers, soil, air, etc.

1) Biotic Resources = these resources are obtained from biosphere i.e. human beings, livestock, floura and fauna etc.

2) Aboitic Resources = these resources are composed of non-living things e.g., soil, rocks, metals, winds, etc.
