the physiological effects were:-

1. Over 9 million soldiers died

2. Over 20 million soldiers were injured.

3. Many civilians also died because of the extensive usage of artillery.

4. A large part of working population lost their lives.

The financial effects of First World War were:-

1. It led to agricultural overproduction which decreased prices of agricultural products and lowered the incomes of farmers.

2. The war took the lives of many able bodied men so household incomes dwindled as there was no one to earn for the family.

3. There was snapping of economic links between countries as they were fighting each other to pay for them.

4. It created a boom in industry as a lot of machinery, guns, etc had to be produced.

5. When production contracted, the war boom ended and many people were thrown out of work.

6. In Britain in 1921, one out of every five men was out of work.
