The Patriotic Front (PF) was formed as a political and military alliance between ZAPUand ZANU during the war against white minority rule in Rhodesia (now called Zimbabwe). ... ZANU-PF (Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front) is the ruling party in Zimbabwe since independence in 1980. It's founders are Robert Mugabe and Joshua Nkomo. Simon khaya moyo is the national chairperson.
