carbon dioxide enters into d leaves through Tiny pores present on the surface of the leaf called stomata.
Water is taken up from the soil.
Chlorophyll present in the chloroplast absorbs the radiant energy from the sunlight. it creates such conditions that light energy splits up d water molecules into hydrogen n oxygen, releasing energy in the form of Adenosine Tri Phosphate (ATP).
The energy produced is used to reduce carbon dioxide to carbohydrates.
6CO²+6²OC6H¹²O6 + 6H²O ( in d presence of Chlorophyll n sunlight)
