121+22x+x^2

121+11x+11x+x^2

11(11+x)+x(11+x)

(11+x)(11+x)

(11+x)^2

Factors of 121 + 22x + x² are (x+11) (x+11)

Given:

121 + 22x + x²

To find:

Factorise using appropriate Identity

Solution:

Given 121 + 22x + x²

As we know 11² = 121

22x can written as 2(11)x

Then given equation can written as

⇒ (11)² + 2(11)x  + x²

Which is in form of algebraic identity

                   (a+b)² = a² + b² +2ab

⇒ (11)² + 2(11)x  + x² = (x+11)²

⇒  (x+11)²  = (x+11) (x+11)

Therefore,

Factors of 121 + 22x + x² are (x+11) (x+11)
