let the blank be X

now:-

-9/14+X=-1

so,

X=-1+9/14

X=-1/1+9/14

now we will take out the LCM and make the dinominater same and the dinominater will be 14 only .

now :-

-14/14+9/14

=-5/14

-9/14+(-5/14)=-1
